Uffie and Feadz threw down at the Social in Hollywood last night. And I must say , I was pleasantly impressed. Although, I wish the supporting DJ’s were a little more on the French electro tip.

Feadz more than made up for it though with a blistering set. Im not sure the crowd knew what to make of the glitchy electro sound, but Feadz got a suitable response after dropping a few Daft Punk cuts (Oh yeah, Technologic, Harder, faster , Robot Rock) and the ubiquitous Justice vs Simian “Friends”.

Uffie got right to it as she took the stage. Her performance was thankfully a lot more polished and lively than her studio attempts, although the sound system was not well set up for vocals. Im not even sure Feadz’s mic was plugged in. She put out 7 songs in quick succession and seemed hesitant to perform for a second more than she was supposed to.

Highlight of the night: Malcom in the Middle rocking Mohawk and red hightop pumas.

Blingo is a search engine that rewards you for searching the internet. A random times are selected every day for a prize to awarded. Search during that time, and you win. Prizes range from iPods, PSP’s, Visa gift certificates, and movie tickets. The best part about it is that it really works. I personally have one six times, five of those times due to referrals. That’s the beauty of Blingo. Refer your friends, and if they win, you win that prize too. The more friends you refer, the more chances you have to win.

Blingo uses the same search technology as Google so it’s a no brainer to use it if you rely on Google for your search needs already. Simply set Blingo as your home page, or install a neat toolbar for Internet Explorer or a search box for Firefox.

Why I Should Care:

Everyone likes to win prizes. Everyone (mostly) uses Google to search the internet. This brings the best of both together. Sign up today (via my referral of course) and start winning!

The Motion Picture Association of America filed suit against two of the largest Bittorrent search engines, Torrentspy and Isohunt earlier today. Also named were torrent hosting sites Torrentbox, Niteshadow, and Bthub.
Curiously, the MPAA might have a difficult time proving their case against Isohunt and Torrentspy ,as they do not actually host the torrent files.
